9th February - Lunch @ The BROLGA
Improving Your City – How You Can Make It Happen
Paul Pasasale, Mayor of Ipswich, is electric. He has agreed to speak to chamber members about putting Maryborough back on the map. LUNCH WITH JOHN SYMOND of AUSSIE HOME LOANS

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

hbcc_banner1

Dear Members and Supporters,

Lunch with Aussie’s

John Symond

In conjunction with Aussie Hervey Bay, the Chamber is extremely proud to present Aussie’s John Symond for the Chamber’s November function.

John Symond is arguably one of Australia’s favourite Aussies, and he will be visiting Hervey Bay on 13 November 2009 for the opening of Aussie’s new office on Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba.

As part of his visit to the Bay, John will be joining us for lunch as the Chamber’s Keynote Speaker and will share stories of his amazing life journey with us.

John describes his life as a typically Australian one – a happy childhood in Brisbane and Sydney’s west, a near miss with financial failure after the 1987 crash and subsequent emergence as one of Australia’s most inspiring businessmen.

Date: Friday, 13 November 2009
Time: 12.00pm for 12.30pm start
Venue: Hervey Bay Boat Club, Buccaneer Drive, Urangan Marina
Cost: $50 for Members and $60 for Non Members
Member rates apply to members of the Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Burrum
and Tiaro Chambers of Commerce, Fraser Coast Young Professionals,
UDIA and Fraser Coast South Burnett Tourism.

RSVP: On or before Tuesday 10 November 2009 (if not sold out prior)

to download the flyer and registration form.

There will be limited seats for this event, so EARLY BOOKINGS will be a must to secure your spot.

All attendees will have a chance to win a personally autographed copy of “Aussie John”, his latest book (so don’t forget your business cards). There will also be an opportunity to purchase tickets to win a bottle of 2002 Vintage Penfolds Grange, kindly donated by The Hervey Bay Boat Club.

We would like to extend a big thank you to our supporters who are:
